The A.C. Coy company has an immediate opening for an Assistant Controller. Ideal candidates will have been in a senior accountant role for a minimum of 5 years and have experience with multi-state sales tax.
Responsibilities
- Oversee revenue recognition
- Support accounts payable and receivable
- Manage physical inventory valuation and reconciliations
- Assist with cash processing
- Maintain fixed asset records
- Maintain all documentation required for sales tax processes
- Support month-end close
- Prepare and enter journal entries
Qualifications
Education Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Experience Required
- 5+ years of experience in a senior accountant role
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines
- Experience using Sage 300 preferred
