Job Title: Amazon Flat File Expert

Schedule: US Business Hours Eastern Timezone

Salary Range: TBD

Location: 100% Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Flat File Management: Create, update, and manage Amazon flat files for product listings, including inventory, pricing, and product details.
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure all product data is accurate, complete, and formatted correctly according to Amazon’s specifications.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to flat files, such as listing errors, data discrepancies, and file upload problems.
  • Optimization: Analyze and optimize product listings for improved visibility and performance on Amazon, including keyword optimization and category enhancements.
  • Reporting: Generate and interpret reports related to listing performance, sales trends, and inventory levels to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, inventory, and customer service teams to ensure alignment on product information and strategies.
  • Best Practices: Stay updated on Amazon’s policies, tools, and best practices to ensure compliance and leverage new features for optimization.

  • Experience: Proven experience with Amazon flat files and listing management. Previous experience working with Amazon Seller Central is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with advanced knowledge of formulas, data manipulation, and troubleshooting.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and file management.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification: Amazon Advertising or Seller Central certifications.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with home textiles and e-commerce best practices.
